Airbag recall

Just got a recall letter telling me that the driver's airbag needs replacing on my 2015 535D touring.

It states that if I had an accident, then I might be fatally or seriously injured. Then goes on the say that they are getting the parts in sometime soon.

It will of course be FOC for the replacement.

Talk about setting the tone...

Not much use if it goes off in the weeks it will probably take to get the parts. Wonder how many millions they are going to have to replace? Cant be as bad as the EGR (mine done twice) can it?

Had my letter too on Saturday!

Fingers crossed they'll only need to do it once - like you I'm on my second EGR cooler LOL
