F10 535i M Sport Engine noise

Hey guys,

Coming with E92 background, I find my F10 engine noise very disturbing.

I purchased this 2014 535i M Sport with 150k - 2 weeks ago.

I don't feel any loss of power and there are no OBD error codes.

What do you guys think? Is it normal?

Not normal at all, even my 530d (diesel) sounds way better

I dont consider myself an expert on N55 engines or anything like that but I think that sounds normal. Especially if it has been just started, those direct injectors are known to be loud and ticky.

Sounds fine to me. Mine sounds the same and always has. I've had it for 50k miles (now at 95k).

My F10 M-Sport 535i sounds same (sometimes louder, sometimes not? I dunno but the metallic clicking has always been there for me too).
Owned car from 53k - 68k miles.

I know exactly how you feel tho, the sound has always been a bit unnerving to me even though I've had a few people tell me "Relax, it's just noisy injectors"
