I’m paranoid to one leave my car outside two put a car cover on that isn’t velvet inside on fear of scratching paint. My F10 is garaged kept I just want a soft cover for dust primarily.

I generally would be concerned with a cover damaging the paint, but sometimes I feel like it's needed. I recently was staying with a friend that doesn't have a garage and the neighbor was having their house repainted. I made sure to have the cover on to protect from any overspray. So far that's the only time I've felt the need to use an outdoor cover. But I was very glad I had it.

My 5 series has some damage , but drives. Appears to be just some trunk damage from flying debris. The back seat floor got wet from flood waters, but hasn't seemed to have gotten to anything important. My dad is currently driving it daily while I'm out of town. I still haven't seen the damage for myself, I'm still working out of state at the moment. I have the Alpina with me, which means it didn't have any storm damage, but has more miles on it now than I anticipated right away. |
