Msport Steering Wheel Thickness
Would like to get some thoughts on folks that have msport steering wheel. I recall when I picked up the car, the steering wheel had some thickness to it and felt "cushioning". I sometimes clean it with Lexol leather cleaner (from dirty hands).
Lately, noticed that the thickness is not as thick before. Is it because of oily hands, or the cushion is flattening? Anyone else experience this? just curious. |

I suspect this may just be psychological. Things always feels special when they are new and then you get used to it.

+1, I doubt the wheel would "shrink"

Things appearing thinner (or shorter) than they previously seemed is common psychological artifact, not limited to steering wheels |

I had a loaner e60 with a regular steering wheel for a couple days. The joy when I got into my beloved M sport F10 again!

Also I don't have sport steering wheel on my previous E60 but I've got the peddle shifter plus the sport steering wheel and that's day and night. But I agree different folks have different taste.
