Sport + and Comfort +

Folks - I have a 2012 528i but do not have the Sport+ or Comfort+ options on the menu when I press the respective buttons. I only have Comfort, Sport and ECO Plus. Is this the normal setup for the 528i?

Hi BigKutta. I can't say for 100% but I have the 520d and have Eco-Pro, Comfort, Sport & Sport+ and don't have VDC or AD etc.

I think there is linkage to whether you have Auto/Sport auto. Comfort+ I am inclined to think comes with VDC only, otherwise you just get Comfort. I don't think any of this is in the iDrive setting to enable, they are just there.... what does your manual say?

The manual describes all of them, but the manual also has all the optional features that I may not have, so it doesnt help.

Anyone else with a 528i that can confirm?

For Comfort+ or Sport+, you would need the "dynamic damper control" option. Looking at the BMWUSA build-your-own page it looks like you'd need the Sport package or M-Sport package to have that option.

My first post here, I wonder why mine has got Sports+ when mine is not M-Sport ? I don't think mine has got dynamic damper control though..

To be honest, I'm located in Singapore whereby the dealer don't really list down it's comprehensive list due to Parallel Import.

You don't have to have MSport. Just Sport. At least in the US. Can't speak for Singapore.

Question, these are standard on 2012 models in Canada right? Or will I just be getting comfort eco and sport? Kind of confused now..

I know for 2011 you needed to get sport package to get the toggle and that they cancelled the sport pack for 2012 Canada.

That's my understanding. And there should be an "EcoPro" mode on the 2012 models as well, I think.

I have a 2012 M Sport and have EcoPro, Comfort +, Comfort (Default), Sport and Sport +, I am located in the USA.

Mine is also RWD, no X Drive.
