2017 F10 Model Year Updates / Changeover
Anyone know when the next round of updates / changes will be made to the F10?
Will there be a mid-2016 updates or will the next update be the 2017 model year? Any idea what the updates may be and when they'll hit? The last model two model years of the F01/02 the M Sport Package was free. Or are we in the final model year / iteration of the F10 now? Thanks! Last edited by dbs600; 03-09-2016 at 01:22 PM.. |

I believe the new G30 will 2017, and that the F10 is in its last year.

If the F10 ends production in October 2016, no further changes to standard equipment, options, packages or otherwise likely; ugh.
Thought they would've thrown in a host of free equipment - such as a no-cost M Sport Pack - to keep up sales and clear out unnecessary parts inventory. Any amazing lease promotions at this time or anticipated? Strange, I don't recall the F10 arriving so soon after the F01/02! Thanks guys. Last edited by dbs600; 03-09-2016 at 01:42 PM.. |

It wasn't "free" pr even close to it on the E60, M Sport on the E60 was a pretty extensive upgrade. Except the Xi model E60s where it was just an appearance package.

There is a new Limited Edition package that adds 19" wheels, shadowline trim, heated seats, PDC, and a rear view camera for $2,300, and cars so-equipped seem to also have the black grill option. It makes the non-MSport 528i rather attractive. The Sport Automatic with paddles was also made standard for 2016.

Yes, in the final model year of the E60 the M Sport package changed quite a bit. They added "M" logos to the door sills, alcantara headliner, "M" logos to the shifter and steering wheel, and (allegedly) the M Sport suspension was revised to make the M SPort cars slightly lower than no M Sport. All those revisions made it impossible for them to give away the M Sport package in the final year.

Just keep in mind that wear items will no longer be included in BMW Ultimate Service starting Model Year 2017..... that means no more free brakes.
