Today I used some touch up paint on my highway rock deflector, I mean front splitter.

Can't find a picture, but Wein Air had a little tube extending from the lower edge of the engines on at least some of their 737's. The purpose, you may ask, was (using some bypass air from the engine) to blow rocks away from the intake. They serviced some, shall we say, primitive airfields! Saw that when I worked the tower at SLC.

finally ordered the gloss black double slat grills. got them dirt cheap $43 off a bid lol! really i only need the slats as i'll swap out the rings with my carbon fiber one's

love them too! been meaning to get these when they first came out but they were kinda expensive at the time lol!

thinking about replacing my PU splitter with this Carbon Fiber splitter which should fit better than what i have now.

That was my plan with the stock grille. Problem is the tabs didn't line-up and I had to buy the whole grille with the chrome surround.

Its gonna be unique for sure. I'm not really feeling it though. Like I've since GT cars with it but its hard to say without seeing it on the car.

So here's my splitter now.



From this side shot you can see how the splitter doesn't line up exactly to the wheel well edge. So basically with this new splitter it will be flush and instead of just PU it'll be carbon fiber

FOUND IT!!! It's called a gravel kit... It actually dissipates the vortices ahead of the engine so it doesn't suck in any gravel/debris.

i believe so? you should get this one since it's longer on the sides (20" vs 14.5") and should flush with the wheel well.

the splitters are pretty much universal. this can be used almost on any front end as long as you measure and get an idea of how it will look on yours. the PU splitter i bought was a universal. with this carbon fiber one you have to drill holes at whatever attaching points from underneath along with some double sided tape. also, you'll need to get some splitter rods to help support the front. not for everyone but because of the way i'm doing my car it works well the price is actually pretty good considering carbon splitters run anywhere from $350+. go to Ebay and type in "Universal Splitters" and you'll see they have a variety of splitters to choose from. i just remembered you have the PU side skirts and the DTM rear diffuser so you're car has a pretty aggressive look so i think adding a PU splitter up front would compliment the PU skirt extensions you have some PU rear skirt extensions would top everything off

I realize I kind of like them with the lowering. I'll get them either dipped or powder coated black eventually maybe. Atleast add some spacers to bring Bloo back to flush.

Since you're lowered I would probably do 15MM rear and 10MM front. I did 18MM rear on my stocks but I never lowered it. Powdercoat them gloss black!
