test drove a 2013 550ix

This past weekend I test drove a preowned 2013 550i with x drive. The car was loaded - M Sport, soft close doors, additional gauges, HUD etc etc. 15K miles from original owner. The car is fast, but I didn't get a chance to totally check out the handeling... but seemed much bigger and heavier than my E60.

I liked the car except: its probably pretty thirsty on gasoline, the M-wheels were not staggered and the chrome on the door handles was somewhat guady imo. Also the oval exhaust reminded my of an Acura.

It had the led blinkers - so was this pre-lci ?

LCI started for 2014. Staggered wheels on x-drive was an option that started in 2014, all x-drive cars prior had a square setup though I don't think you will find many staggered setups on dealer lots in New England even on LCI cars.
