I know this is an F10 forum but I just had to reminisce..I don't know what it is but the E60 is still my favorite body style. Maybe I drank the Bangle kool aid but the "flame surfacing" looks good on dark colors. The wheel openings are the right proportion for just about any 18-19" wheel. The car sets at the right height from the factory without lowering springs. Oh, a seldom noted difference between the two...the visibility out of the E60...sight lines over the low hood and the four corners of the car, through the A pillar and the rear view, just seem much more better.

Yes, I love my F10 and there's no going back...but I just smile every time I see a nice E60.

Sorry, the E60 fails in my book. The f10 is the promise of the e39 fulfilled.

The e39 was loaded with hodgepodge tech, but the whole was greater than the sum of its parts. The e39 was genius.

The F10 tech actually functions and adds a true dimension to the vehicle. The tech of the F10 is part of its overall character.

The e60 tech was all promise and no action. The design of the e60, IMHO, failed to meet its objective.

But, I am sure a lot more people agree with you and not me. But, I am glad you like the e60.
