Locking the car/engine with a PIN
Hello all,
I used to drive a 2002 E39 530i. That car came with a nice security feature where the owner can enter a 4-digit PIN code to lock the engine/car before taking the key out. If someone stole the key, the thief won't be able to start the car without entering the correct PIN. I'm wonder if F10 535i (2012 US model specifically) comes with this feature as well. I can't find that option after going through iDrive menus. Thanks. |

Dont think any car got it after the E39
Too easy for real car thieves to get past and left too many owners that forgot the code stranded
