Hi,

I am fairly new to this, I want to switch my original headlight to 6k.


1) Someone recommended me Philips D3S Will these fit?

2)What do you recommend?

Why do you want to switch to 6K? Higher you go in lighting color, less your eyes see, even at same output. I would not go above 5K.

Some people like 6k or higher because it's bluish. I like it too. However, blue is very harsh on your eyes. Imagine the people on the other side of the road going the opposite direction. Even if your headlights are aimed right, it's still a problem.

6k gives you less light anyways. The optimum light is 4-5k. Blue light will also be useless in many situations.

i think BMW gives very good HID, I don't recommend any change
Personally think 5.5k is the best
