Metallic vs. Non-Metallic Paints
Are BMW’s Metallic paints any stronger than their Non-Metallic paints?
Aside from the flake mixed in, is the paint process any different? Any additional coats used? Thanks. |

They both have clear coats, so I assume it's the same.

Paint integrity isn't any better and clear coat is the same stuff if that's what you're asking.
My recommendation is to put on a hard coat like Opticoat or CQuartz. It does wonders for mine. |

Anyone know if BMW Individual paint has any added strength?
If not mistaken, it has an additional layer or two, right? And is the application process any different? |
