Wheel offset question
I am planning on installing 20" aftermarket wheels.
The wheels only come in a 20x8.5 35 offset and 20x10 40 offset I will be lowering the car with H&R sport springs. I would like these wheels to sit flush as possible without causing any rubbing. I am considering adding 10mm spacers to the two front wheels and 5mm spacer to the two rear wheels. Final specs would be 20x8.5 25 offset and 20x10 35 offset? Are the above specs with spacers appropriate for the F10 body or should I go with a different size spacer? I am looking to run a 245/30/20 tire up front and either a 275/30/20 in the rear OR 285/30/20, could someone advise me on which set up is ideal. Rear setup will be a tad aggressive but should work. You say get some slight rubbing, think it is pretty close. Fronts should be good to go.

Nope. I run a 21x9 with a final offset of 25 and I'm lowered on H&R springs with no rubbing and it could probably come out another 5mm easily

Decided to go a different route with the wheels.
20x8.5 front 34offset- 20x9.5 rear 37 offset What would be the recommended offset? I'm looking into 12.5mm front and 12.5mm rear? Deepat04 Last edited by deepat04; 04-29-2014 at 08:36 PM.. |

This plus ET20 Front and ET33 rear should be very flush.
I am running ET35 on a 20x10.5 rear setup and its flush with zero rubbing with ACS springs. Might even be able to squeeze another 2-3mm honestly... Alan

What is everyone considering flush? I tried VMR v710s 20x9 et 20 front and 20x10 et 25 rear and the rims themselves are just visible from the side of the car, poking out.

For me i am looking at it from top dead center. 12'oclock position. I wanted my tire/wheel as flush to the fender at that area without rubbing and I think I accomplished that. Looking at it from the back side view from the lower bumper area my wheel and tire does look like its stick out.

Plan to run a final offset on the front of 20.. 20x8.5 wheel
Rear 20x9.5 final offset 25 Will the rear work? Also on a 9.5 rim what tire size is recommended 275 or 285? Deepat04 |

^^ 20x10 ET25 is VERY aggressive for the F10. Def. not a look for everyone especially if the car isn't lowered.
