Indoor temp sensor location? (heater doesn't work for right side)
Hello,
If Auto mode is on from climate control, air is not heat only for right side. After OBD scan, the indoor temp of right side is over than 70 degree. Left one is about 20 degree. I think there will be indoor temp sensors(left and right) and the right one has problem. Could you please let me know how to find it and replace it? Car info : 2015 F07 GT LCI 30D xDrive (no 4NB(4 zone AC) option) Thanks, |

This is what I found for my car
F10 530d 2011 go to realoem.com and put your vin in to see if its the same part no. It states that for vehicles with Autom. climate control with 4-zone ctrl it uses two sensors. I'm not sure If mine is 4-zone, but def 2-zone left and right as yours I guess. 5' F10 530d Temperature sensor > Heater and Air Conditioning > Electric parts > Temp Sensor part no. 64119166109 https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/sho...diagId=64_1655 |

Just to verify since it wasn’t mentioned…how is the stratified air dial set for the front passenger? If the dial in the center vent is set in the blue area…then only cooled air will blow from those vents. Move the dial to the neutral or into the red area if you want warmed air to blow from that side.
