Must-have options on your F10?

Im in the process of building a F10 550 for european delivery and was wondering if any current F10 owners have suggestions on must-have options.

Current configuration:
2011 BMW 550i Sedan
Imperial Blue
Dakota Leather interior
Aluminum interior trim
Sport Auto
Premium Package 2
M-sport Package
Convenience Package
BMW Apps

Cheers

I don't like M package...

I think, that "must have" is:
- soft close door
- electric open/close trunk
- electric seats with memory (or comfort seats)
- navi professional
- night vision
- auto. gearbox
- leather (bright color)
- wood
- parking sensors
- xsenons
- heated seats
- surround view

BMW apps - for what ?!

BMW apps for Pandora radio!

I'm on the fence about the side cameras as the rear view and parking sensors comes with the premium 2 package.

I think I have most everything you cited covered between convenience and premium 2 besides night vision...

Thanks

If talking strictly must have - Sports Auto Transmission, PDC, Surround View, Folding mirrors and SatNav Pro. Then come comfort leather seats, xenon headlights and the rest of the list...

Nappa Leather is a must! Dakota is too rough and cheap feeling. Also consider Driver Assistance Pkg and Active Vent Seat Pkg

Driver Assistance package is useless. Save your money.

Nappa is a very nice option.

Active vent seat? Wtf? Is this the must-have or the "cool to have"-thread?

I think the MUST have options is:

Sport automatic transmission
Comfort package (xenon lights etc)
M-Sport
Sat-Nav
iPhone connection

Musthaves on a 550i:
SAT
Comfort seats
Michelin super sports

The rest, well it depends just on how you like it.
Parking help is usefull, nappa leather is awesome.
I like an interior with two tone in contrast and dark wood and anthracite ceiling.

Must have options for me are:

Fold down rear seats
Heated seats
Paddleshifters
iPod

Kind of ridiculous how this car can barely fit 1 set of clubs. where as E-classes and M3s and 135s have a trunk shape that is better suited for golfing.

If I knew I was going to fix my car up I would never have bought the Msport package. Also not a big fan of courtesy lights, and pop up side and rear shades and they break all the time so I didnt get premium.

You would pretty much have the same car as me down to the exterior color and interior trim. The interior combo looks great. In addition to what you have I recommend the SAT, side/top cameras and HUD. I have these options on my car and a couple of others that I wouldn't recommend.

The 'top four' I would suggest are covered by your list:
- Sport Package (or M) to get Shadowline and 19-in. wheels
- Sport Automatic (with Paddle shift)
- Multi-Contour seats (in Sport package)
- Navigation (in Premium P II)

A few other key items (leather, Xenons, heated seats) are either standard in NA or covered by your list.

I also find a folding rear seat useful. It is standard in Canada (535i, 550i) but seems relatively rare in the USA.

Not a single person has mentioned my favorite option. I LOVE my HUD. You never have to look down to see how fast you are going. And if you use navigation as much as I do it displays all of your turns on the windshield. It's something that you use EVERY SINGLE TIME you drive your car.

SOFT CLOSE DOOR!!!

I never believed it is a must.
I had it on my 2004 S500 as standard and never thanked to this option.
However, my wife is having a hard time to close the door all the time in my F10. Even myself have to re-close the door time to time. This thing is hard to shut....

Either something's wrong with your doors or you need to spend more time in the gym mate ;-) To each their own, but I never had a problem with closing my F10's doors?

lol...
Thanks buddy, but I'm speding enough time in the gym.
When it happens to me, it happens with tight parking spots, not enough room to swing the door.
And my wife weighs only 110lb and has no muscle...
