Tyre Advice
Hi all,
Rears are needing replaced, currently have Michelin Primacy run flats on both front and rear. Looking at About £455 to replace them both. Can get Goodyear Eagle Asymetric F1's for £348. I have always tended to favour Michelins as I always get at least 20k miles out of rears, but £100 is £100 Whats the views on the Goodyears? Will they do as many miles as the Michelins, and are there any issues with mixing the fronts and rears as the Michelins on the front are quite new. Thanks |

The Goodyear's will be fine - but I found Michelin Premacys to be quieter, in my experience.
I don't know where you are located, but if in the Southern England area, I suggest you look up Micheldever near Winchester. It's been a while since I had to buy tyres (was on a company car until recently) but they were worth travelling to from West London to buy 2x RFT tyres... ! If you have a CostCo nearby, they are usually competitive for Michelin's. Need to be a member - or find someone that is (can take 'guests'). |
