Quick someone buy it before he changes his mind!
I don’t blame the internal struggle as this looks to be an immaculate looked after example with a few nice options and upgrades. The 30d really is the sweet spot model. Have you taken off the map? I thought you were running with a nice boost in power. Good luck with the sale and finding an M5 - would love to hear your thoughts once you’ve made the switch. |

The map is still on and I would leave it on if the buyer wanted it, I don't think I will find a buyer unless I trade it in though. If someone drove it I can't imagine they would want the map removed. |

I guess you won’t know until you tried, but as your car is still under manufacturer warranty there’s no real difference than buying a similar car from a dealer, apart from the showroom experience and mark up!
Also, a buyer will be able to assess the type of owner you’ve been, whereas you take a chance even with an AUC car. There’s a few financial organisations who provide PCP to individuals so hopefully that might helpwith your sale |

Well after all of my research I bottled it and decided that the F10 30D was just too good to sell, it suits pretty much all of my requirements both business and personal and has more than enough power and refinement. It's also been mine from new so has no secrets and I own it.
I still want an M5 and until September it wouldn't be a problem. However if I get a permanent job and take a car allowance then the pence per mile I would claim on fuel from whoever could be as low as 12p a mile. This would mean that for every mile I drive on business it would cost me about £2.50 a gallon which I know would really grate on me, especially covering 18,000 miles a year, I appreciate that I could claim back the tax element up to 45p but it's still a faf. So it came down to keep mine that averages 43mpg and delivers everything I need, £340 insurance and £150 tax or sell it and spend an additional £23K to but a low mileage fully specced M5 which would be amazing but costly once I put 18'000 miles a year on it. Tax, insurance, fuel etc etc was just too much. |

The 6-cylinder F10/11 models are pretty decent cars, we are not exactly slumming it around in one. |

If I did normal mileage then I would have one in an instant but with the business mileage being so unknown it's too much of a risk |
