No sound, no chimes 2011 535xi

Hey all, I know this has been discussed in other threads but I haven’t been able to diagnose my problem.

My car: 2011 535xi with Top Hifi (I think it’s called Top Hifi in the states.. it’s the system with 16 speakers, including 2 in the rear doors and surround mode in idrive.)

The issue: no sound from radio nor Bluetooth. No door/seatbelt chime. No PDC beeps. NO error message in idrive either. Absolute silence

What I’ve tested: all fuses are ok (checked twice). Used an optical loop to bypass the amp and bt module in trunk, both seem to be working, red light coming through. I checked each module 1 by 1 but still no return of sound.

Any thoughts on this? I have a scanner coming tomorrow so will scan the MOST module for any error codes and update back here

I am having this same issue. I went to charge my battery overnight and my alarm sounded due to battery overheated. Could not get the alarm to stop with the remote or any other reasonable way. To stop the alarm, I disconnected the negative from the battery. After replacing the dead battery and registering it to the car, I don’t have sound to anything in the car. The alarm still chirps but nothing else has sound. Hoping someone could assist. The car has been at BMW for a month and they don’t know.
