How to pair more than 1 phone to the 535?

So I picked up my 535 last week. My first BMW and I love it.

The CA helped me pair my iPhone to the car, but my wife drives the car also and needs her iPhone paired also.

What's the easiest way to do that?

I've read about the profiles that are linked to the two different keys, but that might get a little messy as my wife would probably grab "my" key 50% of the time.

In our other cars, we just pair both phones, and the car stays connected to the "priority 1" phone unless its not in the car, then it will connect to the other phone. All done automatically behind the scenes, so no effort needed on our part.

Is there a button I can program to switch to the other phone?

What are the different ways to do this?

Thanks.

You can set the second phone (in this case, your wife's) as an "Additional Phone" under the settings in the iDrive Bluetooth screen once you have it paired.

OK. And once I pair her phone and set it as "additional" how do I get the car to toggle between the phones? Will it do it automatically?

I have two different phones paired to my F10. The car "selects" the first phone that gets in-range (as long as that phone has BT "active").

It's a manual process: you have to switch under options.

Both phones will get incoming calls, however when dialing out using iDrive, only the main one can dial out.
To dial out from the additional phone, you'll have to dial directly on the phone itself or toggle the additional phone assignment in iDrive prior to dialing out from the car without touching the phone.
