Anyone of you install the ACS spring and have noise issue? I change my Scirocco spring to H&R and it will have noise on low speed when turning... just worry about it will have the same problem... by the way all your F10 looks very nice! Nice photo shooting skills indeed

A couple things I notice about the F10... when it's done right, it looks like an elegant beast, classy yet very aggressive. When it's done wrong... it looks like the ugliest BMW ever made, even worse than the new F30... That being said, both of the animals described are featured in meet.

Nothing planned for me at the moment as my bank account is petty much drained. We don't have PC 187 here in Hong Kong but if I mod anymore my CFO (wifey) will probably murder me.

Nice meet with one by one very nice cars. Unfortunately it's a little bit too far for me to join with my F10...

Lovely meet and cars!
90% of the F10 over here are 100% stock so you rarely see a modded one. |

Thanks for the reply RC3. I really appreciate it. As you know getting rims in China is such a pain in the axx, they are all overpriced with the duty and tax. I like Jnxco's rims, i think they are Morrs', do correct me if i am wrong. I am actually travelling to Hong Kong next monday for a few days to renew my Visa. So if you can point me to a few shops which might have rims in stock that would be really nice. My original tyres are running out in maybe 3 weeks so its time to upgrade.
BTW, whats the feedback on H&R springs? I have been told to go for Eibach Pro Kit and if budget allows, go for KW V3. But i do think V3 is a bit too much for road driving. Thank you. |

http://www.facebook.com/grwheels Try Advan shop if you want to see other selections: http://www.advanshop.com.hk/Advan_Shop/Advan_Shop.html Not sure if they have stock as these wheels are all made to order. I used to have H&R and sold them to another member here. Can't go wrong with these springs. Good stance, improved performance and unbeatable price. Some tried Eibach and found them too bouncy and soft. KWV3 is excellent even for normal driving. I love it and so do all the members here with it. Our F10 is truly the ultimate driving machine with KW. BTW, are you driving the F18?

Hi RC3,
Thanks again for the reply and yes, you guessed it right, I have the F18 (530LI). Will post up pictures of my ride when all the mods are done. Will probably be the first F18 in this forum. So far only done Mtech body kit and front grilled. Ordered end.cc front lip. Will go for KW V3. Will also check out the links that you gave me. Hi Lacster, There will still be custom duty and tax even if i order from the states and its a lot. I checked with a HRE dealer here in Shanghai and was quoted 56,000RMB for a set of 20's and thats 8900USD! If i am not mistaken, Hong Kong is tax free on rims. I have ways to sneak those rims into China |

[QUOTE=RC3;11788402]Morr has a dealer in HK:
http://www.facebook.com/grwheels Just called GRWheels in HK for Morr VS8.2 20 inch. Was told they just sold the last set few days ago. Damn it... just a few days late. Should have asked earlier. Two months wait time if i were to order. Thanks anyway RC3. Will check with advan shop on other rims. If u do know of anyone in the group who is looking for an upgrade and to sell their rims do let me know. Thanks |
