HRE brothers

Winter is approaching here in Canada, so my brothers & I decided to detailed our cars last weekend & take few group pics before going into hibernation mode.

Big thx to my fiend Lukas for the amazing pics!

Enjoy

The shine is amazing on the 3 cars, I highly recommend the C Quartz ceramic coating. It lasts much longer than regular wax according to the mobile detailer who did the job.

Remmib, it's all ur fault.. U were my bad influence & the rest is history lol

Easy to "judge" from Australia
Not sure how reliable these "google" results are but average "amount of snow on the ground" for a year looks something like this:

1 cm. - 115 days a year
5 cm. - 101
10 cm. - 81
20 cm. - 40

Lots of salt and ice as you can imagine (and it gets really, really cold).

That said, I don't get what's Roswell's problem either, I drive mine (RWD) all year round

Lol we should use our CF front lip to plow the snow.

And the bmw is better in terms of look, but in terms of torque the C63 AMG wins :P

Don't tell me CF gets brittle at -30 ? With all that torque on Benz, it'd clear frozen solid driveway in no time?

I bet, and it's not really "hard on eyes" either.

Incredible! I had absolutely no idea about the salt . And I wouldn't want my 5 to end up in a ditch so that is all (now) completely understandable. Thanks guys.

At least here in Ohio/Michigan you'll just lose your backend and next thing you know you're going off the road into either a really big ditch or just the side of the road. However, causing damage to your front end and in most cases you're stuck and will have to pay anywhere from $50-100 to get pulled out of the snow.

Right, but all kinds of cars end up in the ditch, these things happen in the climate we live in. I'll take safety features of our cars in the winter over any "winter beater" in a heartbeat. Common sense and extra caution are absolute must EVERY minute you're on the road in the winter, not just to protect the cars we love but people we share the roads with.

Not for a moment saying you guys are wrong to garage yours, many people do, and Roswell's CF argument is valid for sure, but I believe cars are meant to be driven, that's what we pay for. I tend to drive mine whatever the conditions. The amount I might save for "never winter driven" on resale or trade in down the road is not worth the hassle for me.

No more derailing the thread ... as I said, "nice photos Roswell", I've been trying to figure out the exact location in the city, but just can't figure it out. Experimental farm is the closest I can guess... lol

PM me detailing shop details please, I'll likely use them in March/April.
