Sport Auto Trans ($500)
Hey Guys!
I already ordered my car. 535 m-sport. However, was doing some reading and am pulling my hair out about the trans. I was told that the sport auto trans is only the ability to shift with paddles. NO difference with the transmission. I know with the m sport I can select driving modes which change throttle response and shift patters and suspension. Am I missing anything? Is there a difference? |

I don't have a DHP (included in msport). However, I get a similar driving mode buttons from sport Auto (normal to sport + instead of comfort to sport +).
In my case it is a no-brainer option. From my understanding sport auto enhance steering feel, throttle response, faster shifting on top of the driving mode button (even when you don't use the shift paddles). |

Also, the shifter itself is MUCH nicer, IMO. I regret not having it..get it, for sure. |

I just really wanted to make sure I wasnt missing anything driving wise without the option. I never used the Paddles on my Lexus ISF. Actually I cant say never, but it wasnt very often.

Sport auto brings you paddle shifters which work in all modes and more importantly drive dynamic control, which allows you to set 'normal' 'sport' and 'sport plus' modes. These adjust throttle, steering and gearbox responses and in sport plus the stability control programmes. Sport mode is a superb setting, steering firms up, throttle faster response and the gearbox comes live - brilliant

The m port package had the dynamic handling package and the ability to switch from comfort, normal, sport and sport plus modes. I really think the only difference is the nicer shifter and the paddles
