Red Turn Signals

I was driving behind a new 750i, as it signaled to turn left I noticed that although the taillight assembly is all red like the F10, the turn signal is amber. I believe the turn signal in the F10 (at least the ones in the USA) are in fact red.
Has anyone attempted to change the bulb and color of the turn signal? Is it simply a matter of changing a bub or is it more complicated than that?

lol..same question was posed with LCI e60's as their turn signals are red.....If the f10 is anything like the e60 llight assembly, I do believe it is much more complicated as a simple bulb swap tho. Are EU tail indicators amber or red? with e60's the EU LCI tails are amber flash....

The lens cover is not pure red like those in US. Under direct sunlight, you can see the orange tinge in the lens cover.

I still don't under the rationale for changing to all red in north america. Amber is so much more visible. At least it is not a complete rewiring/reprogramming like in some Audis.

Ours are very definitely amber. Have to be. Red turn signals are a no no in EU. It looks like the LED's are amber here. Maybe the US gets a red tint on them or gets red LEDs.

so can the rear turn signal bulb be swaped for an amber one for the US F10 and make it look like the F01?

IT seems like the European version of the tail lights on the F10 look the same as US version yet the euro version blink orange. So a bulb swap is possible?

No. It will come out some weird color like pink or purple. You have to swap the rear taillights for the European version.

They're LED's so no bulb to change. You have to change the complete outer lighting units, thus the higher price.
