[Dexteryout]

Anyone have any idea how these profiles are meant to work?

I was under the impression that you set everything the way you like, give the profile a name, and the car then learns all your favourite settings every time you get in.

My problem is that I thought that the car then knew it was me getting in, but for some reason every time I get in the car the profile page comes up, and unless I accept my name, it won't go away?!!!

This can't be right can it?

Each key corresponds to one of the profiles. But you can configure somewhere in the iDrive (I think it's under Settings -> Profiles -> Options) if everytime you power up your car, the profile page should appear on the iDrive screen

Doesn't seem to be an options menu after profiles, I can't even delete it to see if that does anything. It's driving me mad

I've checked it: My NBT Professional Navi got an Option "Show Profil-list at startup" when I'm in: Settings -> Profile and press then the "OPTION" button.

Finally found the stupid options setting
