Need help with exhaust

Is this the catalytic converter with the 2 red arrow? i remove the muffler and the resonator and trying to remove the catalytic converter so i can make it straight pipe is there any effect if i remove the catalytic converter or any hp gain? thank :3

thats weird.it says your cats is located closer to the engine just like other bmw. anything that will remove exhaust flown restriction will give you hp gain.
