That's the standard LCI M5 grill. Not the performance version since that one is all black.

Not to derail the thread but... what are the options for a gloss black LCI grille??

The M Performance one is the pre-LCI style and I can't seem to find LCI grilles anywhere...

Seems that no LCI Performance grille has been released yet. Not heard anything about it either.

I found a little problem with the wider spaced LCI grille yesterday when I was driving and a bird slipped in my grille and got caged in the area between the grille and the flaps behind it. It took a small detour to the dealer to let the little guy fly away.

my "M5" grill

A local paint shop took my pre lci grill apart and "polished" off the silver and replaced it... don`t like the silver or all black, so happy with result, very OEM.

Can I ask for a difinitive answer.... are the LCI and pre LCI grill interchangable? My dealer said it was wider and I could n`t swap to my car?

Sorry about he Mini it`s the Mrs`s...

Both pre-LCI and LCI grills are interchangeable. They are the same size.

That's exactly what I am looking for! Chrome border with black slats. Anyone know if an oem grill like this exists?

M5 competition package grill is what you're looking for.

Thanks, would be perfect without the M5 emblem. Wish there was a way to remove it completely without messing up the slats.

Edit: looks like the regular M5, non competition may be the way to go http://www.ecstuning.com/BMW-F10-528...lle/ES2574522/

Us nightvision peeps always get left out in the cold with grill options.....
Have any of you seen the new LCI grills for Night Vision?

This is what I am looking for, too. If ECS carried it before, they don't seem to now. I also checked Turner Motorsports and BMW. Anyone got updated gouge on where to get a set?
