Manual helps, no doubt. But, believe me, I had old/beater Subaru Forester in mind as alternative winter car as I was very concerned about winter driving with this car when I purchased it, but as I said, so far no issues.
Back on the topic ;-) please update us once you get your new car and tires, curious what you end up getting. I'm willing to bet it'd be good winter package from BMW. |

I already have my winter wheels , as previously mentioned I bought an extra set of style 351 Msport Wheels (19") which were the identical wheels that came with both my 2012 and 2015 F10. A lot of Forum Members upgrade to 20 & 21" wheels for their F10's so they sell their OEM 19" in the classified here, so I grabbed a set when I got my 2012.
For tires, I will probably stick with Pirelli as they have been good to me.
