Think I found my answer for EVC issue for Meisterschaft

So I noticed on my motor/solenoid their is a logo QTP stamped on the housing that on the picture I circled. I did a quick Google search and they have a website. They make all kinds of cutouts for custom exhaust and I think Meisterachaft uses QTP for the EVC. I found the wiring and switch I will need as well as an optional wireless kit that I may get?

$26.32 for the intermediate wiring:

$36.84 for the Toggle switch with dual QTEC's:

Here's the wireless controllers $86.32:

Here's the motor/solenoid you guys and basically the intermediate wire plugs into this...one on each muffler. Than I would have to run both wires to the Toggle switch where as you can see has two plugins for the intermediate wires to connect to. I see there is a red fuse wire which I'll either run to the battery or tap into the fuse panel in the glove box and take the black wire to ground.

Tell me what you guys think? Hope this helps someone if they ever run into the same situation. The EVC Meisterschaft exhaust runs brand new $3500+! Got it for $900! $10 for 2 cans paint stripper...$26.32×2 intermediate wiring...$36.84 Dual QTEC Toggle Switch. $999.48 for everything with the optional $86.32 for the wireless controls....not bad at all!

Oh I forgot $44×4 90mm carbon fiber sleeves:

So been doing more homework here and it looks like I can run the intermediate wires from the solenoids into the trunk so I can run a power wire and ground by the battery but any holes in the trunk area that's plugged that can be used or will I have to drill a hole? Also, decided to just use their wireless module which eliminatese from have to run a wire from the trunk to the dashboard!

There is a body plug on the drivers, side behind the bumper, above the exhaust. I used it when installing the lights wiring for my trailer hitch.

Any update on this. I was thinking of using some of the ideas from the following. Might use different parts. https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums/c6-tech-performance/3845087-diy-npp-vacuum-pump-controller-system-avoiding-engine-intake.html

I still need to find a fuse to tap. Wireless would be nice but a switch is easy.

Lol my exhaust has been sitting in my garage this whole time but I'll be getting it done here shortly. The link you posted doesn't work BTW. I'm still going to order the wiring kit from the solenoid back to the battery and the wireless kit as well. Don't want to drill holes anywhere on the dash for a switch. Plus, that takes away from ripping my interior apart from the back to the front running a wire to the switch

Try using this linkhttp://www.reddit.com/r/cars/comment...roller_system/

Just the valve will not do a thing. You still need a vacuum source and a wired or wireless switch. I would like to know if you find the harness to the BMW valve. After that, I would buy the BMW valve and find a vacuum source. This could be either from a pump or engine bay. I haven't found where the location of the vacuum source from a 550 or 528 (i think they have a valve too).

My Meisterschaft Exhaust is EVC...not vacuumed thus all I need is the wiring kit and remotes. That's a pretty good setup for those who need to setup a vacuum source

It is expensive to purchase directly from GTHaus. I was quoted $500 for 2 motors. I purchased 1 (I just wanted a spare) from Amazon for $60 shipped.

https://www.amazon.com/MOTORKIT-Repl.../dp/B00C1LS0YY

It is nice to have but to be honest, I haven't closed the valve yet. Remote controlled setup highly recommended!

Gthaus uses QTP for their EVC's. I ordered two IWIRES and the Wireless kit with remotes from Ebay. Hooked everything up but the motors seem dead. So I'll have to order the motors. You're right tho...haven't felt the need to close the valves since it sounds really sweet open

Had that same behavior. Both motors wouldn't make a sound but I can hear the clicking from the wireless receiver when I press the remote buttons. Are you getting any clicking from the wireless receiver? The receiver I have required a 20 amp fuse (due to fuse tap) & a round fuse

Decided to test 1 motor at a time & sure enough, 1 worked but not the other. 1 motor was shorting out due to the wiring sleeves (perhaps due to heat) split open. Both + & - wires were touching and was preventing the other motor from responding. Nice safety feature as it didn't fry anything or maybe I just got lucky.

Once each wire was separated w/ shrink tubing, everything worked as it should.

Yes, you can hear the wireless module clicking. I tapped right off the battery.

Hopefully with your setup its easy to remove the unit. With mine, it would be a PITA if the valves were left open. The motor unit while connected to the valve housing will not slide out. The set screw is on there pretty good also. Tried to use the 2.5mm allen key that is recommended but it feels like its welded on there. Will have to soak with penetrating oil.
