Had it installed and put about 200 miles on over the weekend. The first 30 miles city drive was very disappointed as there were no difference at all. The A4 2.0T I used to have had a huge difference right away at the tuner's parking lot so I was expecting similar on this tune. Later on the day, the power started to pick up . The car pull stronger in mid range and the power didn't slow down as much at the high rpm range. At one time I was passing a car up hill in 3rd gear and the traction control kicked in. Overall, you don't feel the power gain below 2000rpm but once you get above it, the car is alot more alive.

I have not done the dyno yet but the power delivery is very similar to what was advertised:

I also did the "golf tee" mod on the exhaust at the same time so that extra tiny V8 rumble also made the car goes faster

I pretty much followed a 6post member's instruction. Instead of using zip ties, I used big paper clips:

Nice. I thought I read once that the valve was electronically operated on our cars rather than vacuum operated like on the e9x. Any concern about burning out any electric motor that might be controlling the valve?

I don't think it will affect the motor as the valves are closed by springs. So far none of the guys on 6post and I have any exhaust related issues.

Just installed this tune into my 550 last night - it's hard to believe the difference - I set my expectations lower based on the numbers, but my butt dyno says otherwise - will dyno soon and publish reseults.
Thanks Terry!

Waiting for stage 2 and dyno results I can't wait to see what a dyno really says. As for stage 2 terry says there are about 45 of us on the beta with no problems to this point.

Just installed mine today...first 30 or so miles-- didn't feel much of a difference-- now it pulls stronger and seems to rev quicker to redline. Very happy with initial results so far. Plan to order the USB cable and goto 3 psi---will repost review after more seat time. Coming from a modded e92 M3, refreshing to have significant power gain without hurting the wallet so much--thanks Terry!!!

Just spoke to terry he mentioned something in regards to stage 1 interface software. Using the BMS USB Cable and the stage 1 interface we can up the boost. They suggest keeping it at 2.25 psi though. Anyone know how to do it?

There is a member on the N54 forum that bumped up the PSI. I would try to contact him.

On the other hand, if the numbers look good for the eurotune. I might ditch the JB cause stage 1 isn't going to happen for a very long time.

Any news on a dyno for a 550 or a completed stage 1? Seems like with the new engine coming out on with the lci it going to be hard to hit 500 units hope terry can come through anyway for us.
