Wow! Very bright, also seems like it isn't even that dark outside.

And to be honest, it actually looks very classy. I ordered mine today, how long did it take to deliver?

Also, the only thing I would have wished if it came in red and black, but I think the OEM roundel looks quite subtle but very unique.

If you could, do make a video opening the door, and maybe a pic how bright it is during daylight.

does the whole led unit fit behind the lens cover?

it seems kind of big. did you have to gut anything or did it just got right in

The whole unit does fit behind the cover. I got them flushed inside the door panel.

I didn't do anything but drilled the hole, used a rounded sander to make the hole a little bigger since the threads can't fit all the way in. Screw in the rings and push them back in.

I'll take a pic later to show you that it sits flush.

It took 2 weeks for it to come.

I found a way to make the logo smaller to half the size. I'm going to see if it works when it gets dark. I'll take pics later.

YOu can try it but I do not suggest keeping it, I think the size now is perfect. YOu can see it from faraway, but it isn't too shouty.

Btw, how is your tint holding up? I got mine tinted (different film) just today, looks great.

I actually made the image smaller and it's 200% better. The logo is MUCH brighter and clearer. I mean it's a big difference. When it was bigger, it wasn't as sharp or clear but now it's perfect.

Smaller (Driver) Original (Passenger) - You can see it's much sharper of an image and clearer. Also brighter than before.




Here is the DIY to make it smaller.

Open up the top part. It usually unscrews. Take out the inner piece.


Open the inner piece in half - Like so: you will see a few lenses.
Take a look closely at the 3 lenses that are stacked with each other.
[] [] []. You would need to remove the lens closes to the BLACK LOGO piece.


This is how it should look like now: [DEL] [] []. You can see which one I have removed to make the image smaller and brighter.

Looks good, but I feel as if the logo is more distorted. The black ring around the blue/white circle has gotte thinner, making the logo look less like the original. But it is clearer and I like the size better...

Update on these LEDs. I went to take my car in at Prestige BMW and the Dinan Tech, the Foreman and the SA thought they it was pretty cool and was amazed by it. He asked how I did it cause he has never seen anything like it before.
