My F10 550i xdrive on BBS, Dinan springs

Here's a quick picture I took a few weeks ago with my new Nikon 14-24 lens.

Picture shows the BBS CH-R in silver running on Dinan springs. Could use a lower drop but winter is coming.

Great shot man! Are you thinking about anything else? Lip, black grilles, etc. ? All a personal preference, looks clean already.

Just saw this on DINAN's Facebook page, congrats. Well-deserved.

I took this picture a few weeks back. Now it's fall here and the leaves are almost gone. I'm a little nervous with a lip here as it's my daily driver in the winter.

Here's one more from behind with less wide angle lens distortion to show the very mild drop of Dinan springs. Again, could be lower but this will do with my climate for now. Please ignore the black blob of a plate on the back...

They're 20 x 9 et 29 in the front and 20 x 10.5 et 35 in the back. Never had any trouble rubbing even with four people in the car.

Very nice, I also have a 550ix dropped on Dinan springs and love the way the car drives. If it were a tiny bit lower that would be great, but I'm happy not having to worry too much about rubbing or scraping stuff. I just ordered a compact spare and will be ordering Mich Pilot A/S 3 for my stock wheels, and looking for 20s and Michelin PSS in the spring. I think the 20s with my slightly lowered ride height will look better....

Just to confirm, did you go with 245/35/20 in front and 275/30/20 in the rear to get close to the stock rolling diameters? Can you share the vendor where you purchased them? I'm just lining up stuff for my shopping spree.

I went with 285 in the back and 245 in the front. This made the rolling diameter as close as possible and everything has been fine. I've seen others use 275 and i think the stock BMW 20 is 275. Either way is probably fine as long as the front and rear are as close to the same diameter as possible.

I ended up ordering the tires from Tire Rack and even with shipping costs and duty was cheaper than anywhere local for me.

Thank you sir, after my post, I went to a tire calculator and the 285s in rear are within .1 % rather than 275 which are .8%, so clearly 285s would be ideal. I thought with Dinan it would fit fine and you have confirmed it beyond a shadow of a doubt, lol.
