Just picked up a new 550i xdrive with DHP. I have noticed that during when it automatically shifts there is a 1/2 second noticeable vibration throughout the car. I don't feel it in comfort mode. Does anyone know if his is normal or not?

550i xdrive here without DHP, no vibration whatsoever.

There shouldn't be any vibration from the transmission during shifting so I would say that's not normal.

I have a 550 with DHP too ... I have noticed the shift is much harsher in sports mode, especially with the paddles, so there is a bit of a shudder and I can hear it too, but I think its just because of the hard shift. It will be interesting to see what the dealer says.
