F10 M5 Exhaust on 535

Hi nGuys,
Thinking of doing this transplant hopefully to get a nice quad pipe look and gain a little more performance since I believe the M5 exhaust is less restrictive...
I searched the forums but couldn't find anyone doing this to a 535 only to a 550

I understand the front pipping of the M5 exhaust is 3"and it has to be properly adapted to a 2.5 " inlet from the 535 engine...

anyone ?

I did the full M5 exhaust from downpipes and back. I did lose back pressure but my gas mileage went up a little lol.

Loss of back pressure = slight decrease in torque but a slight increase in HP.

SO that means off the line may feel sluggish and will gain it on the top end ? more turbo lag ?

There's no turbo lag.

Interesting..thanks for sharing...
So makes me thinkg that the BMW intake, BMS tune and the M5 exhaust will bring really nice gains....

Don't see the point of opening the intake if the exhaust is restrictive. what do you guys think ?
