'Playlists' in iDrive??
There's a icon for 'playlists' when playing USB music files on iDrive and I just can't figure out how to use it and what it is for.
iDrive's even got some folders on it that I have no memory of putting it there. The user's manual doesn't really mention anything about this function and I have absolutely no idea what it is. Can anyone shed some light? Thanks. |

Assuming you already know what a playlist is generally good for (i.e. on a iPod or in iTunes):
The iDrive system will recognize all playlists in m3u format stored in the root directory of the media with the audio files. I'm using oddgravity's freeware Playlist Creator for creating and editing them on my Audio USB stick.

another tip, if you are using itunes, you can make a playlist in it, and export the mp3 file/playlist to the USB stick that idrive will recognize. look here: http://www.ericdaugherty.com/dev/itunesexport/
btw, how do you get the album art to display big like that? Last edited by Losco; 08-26-2011 at 03:43 AM.. |
