OH and Alan, put some ET Streets on your car, MT Drag Radials are good, just get a second set of rims for the 1/4. Or just straight up Slicks.

black wont have an advantage then!

I just removed the charcoal filters and did the open valve zip tie trick. That right there is like what 100hp! lol J.P.
I also have a brand new set of performance tires NON RUNFLAT in combo with the tune. I feel relatively confident if the BMS tune is what they say it is.

I wish they create intake systems for this car already! The air intake is so damn restrictive.

I'm not going to drag BB. My RWD won't stand a chance plus he hits the track every other day and fills up with race gas all the time like its $1.99

show pics of the zip ties I tried it onces and gave up lol
to retarded with cars to figure it out.
However i know it doesnt do anything for performance casue at full throttle it opens up anyways, I think just more idle / partial throttle sound improvement.

carbon filters, now thats a good performance mod.

Combat, The zip tie trick was extremely frustrating for the first 20 minutes. once I figured out how it took 30 Seconds each to do. There is a noticeable difference from 2.5k-RPM and below. The cold starts also! You can actually hear the exhaust! If you rev the gas while the car is in neutral you do hear a little backfire =)

Also, call me crazy but once i removed the Carbon filters I did feel like the throttle response increased ever so slightly.. it could be just me tho.. lol

hey Combat, Check this link out . This is for the 6 series. It is exactly the same process. the pics are also the same. I highly recommend doing the zip tie trick with a long zip tie. It is far easier to maneuver. it took me about 2 minutes to do both.

The charcoal filters are essentially a filter on top of a filter lol. if that makes any sense. I did feel a slight increase in all around car breathing performance. The charcoal filters looks like your standard air filter just black and light gray material. if you opt this rout DO NOT REMOVE THE AIR FILTER THAT IS BELOW THE CHARCOAL FILTER.

I haven't removed my charcoal filters yet, but as part of installing the BMS S2 this weekend, I'll take some pictures and post for everyone's benefit.
