yup! you'll need to pop of the rear speaker covers to get to those hex bolts. i remember taping the star key from falling out of the socket. careful not to bang the back glass as i remember hitting it a couple of times when i was using my ratchet haha!

Yeah, we spent a good amount of time on dirt "roads" that were more like wagon trails! We gave that little Mazda a bit of a beating. I wish I had taken a picture of the dirt and swamp grass that was hanging out of the front bumper and on the tire valve stems!

They do within 75 miles of the border, but Mexico doesn't recognize American insurance so we had to buy a $38 per day policy.

not a mod....but driving grand-daughter around on Memorial Day weekend...

It is after all, "what I've done recently with my F10". Too early to tell if she appreciates the performance characteristics of "the ultimate driving machine"

Haha thank you man!! I'm in love with the car right now.

The guy that sold me the bags gave me a carbon fiber lip that I need to install asap haha my front bumper is already scrapping. I bought some m performance decals for the side skirts but was told that they won't adhere to the matte wrap finish 😔

Got my third drivetrain malfunction. First was for intercooler, second was for misfire in the BMW parking lot, third was at my house this morning after picking it up yesterday.

I'll give it the third chance. If I drive it off tomorrow or whenever it's ready and I get another malfunction, it's gone. Definitely never owning another twinpower turbo BMW again.

Don't knock all twinpower turbo BMW's. The N63 is notorious for throwing codes and being issue prone, that's why the N63TU came out in 2014. Your car is also a first model year, which I would personally never touch. They start to work out the kinks by the 3rd-4th year.

+1, and also folks go buy beat up used cars for cheap then complain about when they fall apart. What I would stay away from is a modified BMW.

I remember OP posting :
"It's Alpine White on Oyster and comes with Megan Racing coilovers, 20" Niche wheels and tires, and the Active Autowerk (signature?) exhaust. Quite a steal in my opinion. I'll be flying out to LA next week to pick up the ride."

Still very sorry to hear. I think he just bought someone's headache.

specially German cars. Can't go cheap, what you don't spend up front will cost you later on down the road.

100% agree, I personally never buy modified. It may sound hypocritical seeing how I modify as well, but I own my cars versus lease them, so I still meticulously maintain them cosmetically and mechanically so the next owner will still receive a stock, well taken care of car.
