Port Injection on N55 and HPFP upgrade?
Hi guys, I am in the process of upgrading my 2012 535i and came across a question I was hoping someone here could answer. I am currently FBO with PS2 and am considering adding port injection to make the most of the bigger turbo. My LPFP is stage 2 but I am wondering if by adding port injection siphoned off from the fuel rail will I be saturating my HPFP? Would it be better to just upgrade the HPFP and forget port injection for now? I have no interest in running meth and as E85 is not really available here I’m just using pump gas. Please let me know what you think as I’m especially concerned with safety and longevity of the engine and don’t want to push things too far as I’m aware the N55 is not the most robust internally.

If you want to stay in reliable levels which who knows what those levels are after 300hp lol but I would just do hpfp and call it a daqy... Even than I dont know whats the point if you not planning in adding e85 to raise octane level. Port injection would be nice if you could get dual lpfp pumps and max out the turbo on full e85. Port injection for cost of it not worth it for you.
