BMW JB Stage 3 Rumors
Talked to a rep at RSi today and heard that a Stage 3 tune for the N55 is rumored to be released around July. As well as an aftermarket O2 sensor that won't trip the CEL when cat less down pipe are installed.

Most likely for the N55 in the E90 and E92's and not for the F10 since our ECU's are different and vendors don't think the F10 market is worthy of their business...

I spoke with Daniel @ RSI and he is working in conjunction with Terry and they are coming
out with an updated tune to correct the CEL issue. I was suppose to be the text car but with time constraints I haven't had time to follow up. |

It will be different, but there should be some more similiarities between F series rathern than comparng the F series to the E series.

Still want to know if RSI is going to release a Catted Version... Really don't want to deal with the emission issues that the catless version will have when it comes that time every year for me..

Install was extremely easy. We did it on jacks and my car is even lowered. Total time was an hour and he showed me how to put the stock dp back on incase I wanted to replace it.

hehe I hear ya - Im wondering how you got the intercooler in there and if it made a difference in performance. It did in my 335 (had the Helix) but I was running way more boost and catless DP already - wonder if its even worth it on this platform...

I haven't noticed any negative difference in performance since I got the FMIC, but I don't know how much improvement it may have made... I know that i cannot run higher levels of boost on the JB3 with the upgraded FMIC... I ran it +5 after the FMIC install and popped the hose off the FMIC, so I stay around +3.5 with no issues...
