Mudflaps for 550i MSport

Hi my dealer tells me the mudflaps for the 550i will not fit if one has the MSPort package, which I do.

Has anyone proven them wrong? Thx.

I have just fitted them to my Dec 2010 - 520 M sport no issues, screws are already in place and all 4 done in less than 30 mins.

Thanks all for your replies.

Scottish John did you install yourself? I see there are screws in my wheel wells -is it as simple as re&re'ing these, or did you have to drill? Just trying to decide if I need to get the dealer involved

I've just bought the kit for my own 520D. For the fronts you remove/replace existing bolts and with scrivets remove then replace with new scrivets supplied. There is one extra 5mm hole to be drilled for a scrivet (using the newly attached m'flap hole as a guide) then secure with double sided tape on the trailing edge of the moulding that meets with the body. For the rears (from memory) you don't need to drill any holes. and it's a similar process.

I have a copy of printed instructions, I'll see if I can scan them in as a pdf.

Anyway, yes, it looks straightforward except it's recommended to be above 15c and you should wait 6hrs before driving to let the double sided tape cure.

I hope this helps.

I've done the rear, didn't come with any instructions but no drilling just lining everything up on the bottom additional support was a little hard to see. I removed the rear wheels which helped the access.

Front is next.

5er_luvver would be great to see instructions. Thanks

My installation instructions consits of the following 5 step process:

1) Order and pay for the mudflaps;
2) Book appointment with service;
3) Drop car off and sign work order;
4) Pay for installation and pick up car;
5) Enjoy new mudflaps.

Can someone please post a pic of how mudflaps will look on an F10?
I'm curious 'cause the idea seems like blasphemy to me

Yes straight fit, no drilling. Had to remove rear tires as it was becoming a pain but front ok as put them on full lock for access. Make a big difference to previous dirt line everytime it rained here which is a lot !!!
