Here is the non beta SC2 thread.

To start it off, how are you guys planning on buying the game? Retail or digital download?

I got the pre-download file last night and its all sitting on my machine. I just have to go home at 10:00am and turn it on. (Well, and pay for it.)

I gave some serious thought to that, but factoring in the line to get it, install time, etc. I wouldn't have enough time to even play it then before having to go to bed for work. So I tabled it til lunch today. Where I'll finish off my digital download install.

I'm counting the seconds till I leave work. I took off tomorrow, so in about 10 minutes I'll leave here, pickup the game, and play for about 24 hours straight.

Quick question guys...
If I buy Starcraft 2 and install it on my desktop..will I be able to also install it on my laptop later on and play it there? World of Warcraft works this way so I was wondering if I could do this as well for Starcraft 2.

I pre-ordered mine a couple months ago from GameStop and it arrived yesterday. Pre-ordering got me a beta key.

The install took forever! I have a 3ghz, with 2gb of ram, striping RAID (0?) system and it took about 25 minutes, yuk.

But it's up and running. Some glitchyness last night, Bnet didn't want to cooperate for about 15 minutes in finding games. But it got back going normally.

I played 1 single player mission, and it was one of those shitty no-build missions, god I hate those. Hope there aren't too many more.

Had some really good games, wins and losses last night. Some crappy cheese ones too, and of course some non-beta newb partners.

Awesome game, glad it's back!!!

Somehow, Blizzard manages to make the single player for this game not only interesting but fully engaging. Its a great single player if you get into it.

I heard it was really good. Playing the campaign mode unlocks items right?

I took off work yesterday and played all day. I have something like 25 days of PTO saved up, so not a big deal, lol. Name is BigMAK on bnet. I've played about 8 games for practice and will probably do the placement games this weekend. I'm 2-3 1v1 and 4-6 2v2.
