Testing of Parking Assistant

My friend who works in BMW drove a brand-new F10 528i to my place. We had a testing of Parking Assistant function. The length of vehicle is 4,899 mm and the size of standard parking lot is 6,000 x 2,500 mm.

Because the function is new to us, we tried several times and finally we made it.
Here I can share the testing clip.

According to our testing results, it will be good to have Top View Camera system to work with Parking Assistant.

How if the f10 has park distance control (PDC) but without top view camera?

very cool. I test drove a 550 with Top View. It is awesome. Unfortunately it will not be available in the US until this fall, with start of production in September.

Saw the parking assist for the first time, I would not get it but it was freakishly cool for the right customer.
