Hello,

Just brought my 2012 535i xDrive into the dealer as I've been experiencing acceleration that isn't smooth.

After dealer diagnosing the issue, they've determined that the transfer case is bad and they'll be replacing it under warranty. Couple questions:

1) Can a bad/broken transfer case cause any other issues to other parts on my car?

2) How much would something like this normally cost if I wasn't in warranty?
