just got new 535i with RFT and dealer sold me insruance protection with total cost of $2000 for 3 year lease protection. Cost of $65 P/M. Seems from the posts that there could be real problem as live in NYC and experience the potholes. However, if you consider cost of insurance vs cost of tire replacement, seems I would have to blow through 3+ tires to make the coverage worthwhile over 3 year lease term. I am considering canceling the insurance as it may just be too expensive even tho I would otherwise like the coverage. Any advice would be welcome.

YES its worth every penny, if you look at my previous post, i've replaced 3 tires from bubbles and i live in long island, all the bubbles i found right after i drove to NYC hahah and so far the insurance (autoknight) replaced all 3
