KW V3 Settings

Any opinions? Since Its getting installed on monday morning, I might as well tweak it now and save the trouble of dropping it off and redoing it again later.

I believe from factory its 2 finger gap, but maybe ICIC, CWong and others can give some advice on their own experiences.

I don't know what can be adjusted, so please feel free to share.

Thanks!

I'm not very technical nor know much about KW's setting thus I basically took TW ah Hung's advice after telling him what I need. First of all I suggest you can drive for a week or 2 to allow the coilovers to settle, both for the height and stiffness. In my case I drove for 2 weeks on a daily basis. The height dropped about a finger. The suspension also got much softer. Then I tuned up the rebound by +2 which allows a much more stable and accurate cornering experience, even more solid than factory setting. My feel is if you want to keep the feeling of factory setting, you can try to tune up by 1.

As IC said, try to talk to Hung more to know what you can do with your KW.

Just my 2 cents.

AK, I think half to one finger gap all around is best fit for HK, also it depends whether you will add on front lip later in the future.

For the stiffness adjust, I highly recommend to tune up by 1 or 2 from box setting. Please noted that there are very much different by adjust even 1 after the box setting. I tried both, while I think tune up by 2 is kinda stiff on bumpy roads, +1 is what I'm using now. I will see if I get used to this setting or it turns softer after few weeks, I might tune up by another 1. That's very easy, I can do it anytime by myself using that key.
