new owner of 535

Hey guys. Just wanted to introduce myself. My first time buying a bmw, but I'm always looking on this forum because they are amazing vehicles and my best friend has a f10 and my uncle has an e60. Im also looking on the g37 forums because my brother has a single turbo g37 coupe. Anyways, I was looking to buy an f10 for almost a year, and I finally pulled the trigger. I know the G30 will be releasing sometime in 2017, but I don't have the capital to buy a brand new 5 series lol. Past year I saved up enough for a hefty down payment, worked on my credit score and finally got approved for a loan with only 3.34%. Which is amazing considering I'm only a 22 yr old.

The car is a dark graphite metallic with venetian beige interior and aluminum trim. Car was very well taken car of and always garaged which is very difficult here in nyc. Mileage was 61k, It has every option except for side cameras, ceramic controls, and night vision.

I have attached some pictures. Let me know what you guys think.

Congrats and welcome to the forums, good to see someone as young as you do it the right way. get credit and down payment built up and not get over your head. enjoy the "new" car, I can get new, but I prefer to let others take the initial depreciation hit it just makes more sense. plus, buying a good pretty owned vehicle leaves more budget for mods

Congrats, enjoy it.

What did I drive when I was 22? Right, right, wasn't quite "as good" as yours (understatement of the year).
Now, not my intention to ruin your "new car purchase high", but hope you didn't go all out on that down payment, these can get expensive to run.

congrats on your car! Best of luck for many happy miles.
Go easy on the mods. Why? your 22 and bringing more attention to you and your car is doing so becomes a magnet for envy and trouble.

I didn't say "Don't".

Thanks guys. The reason I gave a big down payment was so the monthly payments wouldn't be a problem for me. I agree with PJinCA, I'm definitely going to be a lot of mods, starting with cosmetic ones. Since college opened up again its going to be hard to find time to do them, but I will try to do as many as I can. Starting with tints, black grilles, front lip, rear spoiler, cf mirror caps. And then move onto rims, exhaust, springs, downpipes, and tune.

Proper way to do it, even more so since you're not at 0.9% or 1.9% rate.
