Hi all!

I have what i think may be a bit of a problem with my F10 LCI 520d...

For the first 10mm or so of brake pedal travel there is NO brake lights showing... you can hear the brake pump working, and the car slows down also, but no brake lights are shown until at least 10mm (the thickness of the sole of my shoe - havent measured accurately)

is this normal? a little dead space is normal i guess but the moment the brakes actually start to 'work' surely the light should be on?
