Would be great if brain surgery was as simple as turn everything off and press a lever for 3 seconds

If you press a second time, then there you have it, ignition is like in the OFF position with a normal ignition key. Note: with BMWs cars, even after the S/S button is pressed twice, the car still is not completely off. It will go almost dead OFF, after around 15 minutes (don't remember the exact number of minutes).

I also just cleaned my car and, as per usual, I simply rotated the arms, on their lower pivots, through an angle of approximately 30⁰ and then hinged the arms towards the front of the car and into the vertical position as viewed from the side, i.e., well clear of the screen. Here's a handy hint for you: if when attempting to fold the arms forwards they still contact the rear lip of the bonnet, this indicates that you haven't moved them far enough - rotate them a few more degrees and try again I can only reiterate that I find this requires very little thought and I seem to be able to accomplish the task without any reference to instruction manuals. |

Dunno, I haven't enabled or disabled anything recently that would cause a change in behaviour

Suppose you should not start wiper when windshield is dry. Not even talk about dirty and dry.... Now this process make us needs to "wipe" the glass to the vertical position in dry. Then after clean it... needs to "wipe" down.
I am lost... why make this thing so troublesome. |

Sometime when I wash the car, I can just pull them up, but this doesn't always work, anyone else tried this?
