That could be a 535d. Still doesn't have 48V but at least it's a little better

Garage List
Or the license plate has nothing to do with the car.

Photo came out bad, but car was too immaculate, plus the debadge = vehicle appreciated by owner.

First to mind was that prior car may have been a 760 and either more conservative mindset or weathering downturn now.

Buy yea, could be anything.

US market only has left exhaust on the diesels. European got dual. I'd be surprised if you have seen a 535d with pipes on both sides here.

US 535d is equal to European 530d!

US 535d, dual exhaust tips on left side
EU 530d, dual exhaust tips on left side
EU 535d, single exhaust tips on both sides

Great info; thanks for sharing!

Oh do I wish they'd return to the days when model designation equated to displacement! :|

Does the US 535d and EU 530d have the same power?

And what's the power different between EU 530d and 535d?

Thanks again.

Just about the only thing that bugs me with my car, hate the dual exhaust on the left as opposed to normal 535s!

True, i forgot that 535d US = 530d EU, it should really have tips on both sides as it's the top of the line diesel available in US.

don't feel too bad, remember, all e60s except the m5 had single sided exhausts. at least bmw made the rear on the f10 more symmetrical
