Got my H&R springs installed!

Hi guys
Got my springs installed this week. Havnt had a chance to drive around that much but did a run from central to big wave bay.
Must echo similar comments from other members who have the same setup. The car has lost it's wallowing feeling. My main reason for the install was my wife and kids complaining of getting seasick . This has definitely solved the problem!
The car is much tighter and I definitely feel a lot more confident going into corners.
The ride is a little firmer but still very comfortable . I didn't measure the drop but it should a little more than a inch . Previously I could put 4 fingers between the wheel well and tire but now it's only 2.
Cosmetically it looks a lot sleaker.
Very happy with this mod! First time ever for me on a suspension change!

Congrats chiver. Way to go with H&R.

After driving with these springs for some time. I definitely give them two thumbs up.

Need bigger photos bro.

Geez, I am so envy of all of you with the change of springs! Thinking about ACS/RD/H&R as well but not sure how they would affect AD........

Looks great! Still on the fence on lowering my 528... Where did you get the install done? Did the have to remove the whole back seat?

Thumbs up

Thx koby

I didn't actually go to a licensed shop. I have someone who has been working on my cars for many years. He does this in his spare time but he is highly qualified. He was trained by another luxury German manufacturer. Yes he told me that he took out the rear seat. I was on the fence too. Kept the original springs in case I didn't like the H&R.

Congrates!
F10 definitely need a drop to maintain BMW's character!
Take out rear seat is what I reluctantly mod spring yet. Was those seat stain with machine oil during the removal?

Not necessary to take out the back seat, just take out the speakers. Check out my thread: http://f10.5post.com/forums/showthre...=503553&page=2

Drove a friend out to the gold coast tonight for dinner. Very happy with the springs! It feels like a totally different car! Much more nimble and to me much more fun to drive!
