Yea it's awesome. They should try doing that on our 550s (or at least N63TU ones) even though with aftermarket exhausts they do already crack a bit

Yes sir. I have a stage 2 now, but we're making the final adjustments and will have it dyno-tuned soon. Anticipating 350whp across redline, not much more WTQ will be added since the trans is maxed out on tq.

The #1 problem with the 535 is the IAT and maf readings. We need to make a custom air intake that goes directly to the turbo otherwise we believe numbers would be closer to an F30 on the same tune.

Can't wait until you have numbers on the stage 2. Debating between this and Ess tune for my 535 xdrive.

We're almost therevivanapoli806 took some new logs today to prepare for the final tune on the dyno. Could be as soon as this weekend or next. I'll post soon. The reason it's taking some time is Alex is uncovering the limiting factors for the F10 and coming up with smart ways to handle torque reduction from BMW. He mentioned there's so many tables in the ecu that limit tq/hp possibly hundreds.

The only way I got a hold of him was the chat function on their site, no response through email or PM. So try that is you get a chance.

Sneak peak at stage 2 progression. If you know what 13.5psi at 5500rpm means for the stock 535i turbo then you know good things are coming.

So they are essentially tweaking the tune to get the most power and still be reliable correct? So after they figure out all this when other guys wanna go stage 2 they will get he exact tune that your installed with ?

The goal is to remain reliable keeping AFR in a safe ratio. MP has been able to make more power on less psi, but that's not to say that more psi isn't going to happen. We're cable of 20psi. Of course as new versions of both stage 1 and 2 become available everyone will have access to the new version immediately and those with the m-boot will be flashed remotely. FYI remote flashing only takes a few minutes, I did one yesterday.

I wanna go stage 2 so bad but need everything in a ready state to pass emissions in IL. Wish there was a proven dp fix for the n55 like the n54 has.

You have a gfb dv on your car, did that make any difference? Did you put it in because of boost control issue?

I put it in when trying to chase down the problems of my past tune from a company I won't mention. The GFB dv+ is not needed unless you're going somewhere over 200bhp. The stock plunger turns out to be pretty sturdy even on the aggressive tuning I'm doing now. What's more is I put in the GFB spring and it threw a shadow code. The problem with that is the DME will reduce torque because of that code and it makes it impossible to tune for more power. We've deleted the "BOV" sensor check, buts that's not a great practice. In other words keep your stock DV unless your trying to make 450+ whp. Ask obriennathaniel he's pushing over 500whp!

I'm pretty sure the MissionTuning software delete for Catless DP will be able to pass emissions right Bmw doubles MissionPerformance
If they are able to put everything in the ready state I'm for sure in on stage 2 then. We aren't allowed even 1 not ready here

Correct on the readiness state. Actual emission from the tailpipe obviously no.

Are the JPipes custom? Do they help tone down the drone? I'm assuming that is why you have them........

Yes the J Pipes are custom. I used a frequency analyzer app and what's called the Helm Holtz equation to eliminate the undesired drone. It works perfectly when the J Pipes are closed off at the end. I had the caps removed to have a half muffler delete sound and it that worked like a charm. However with an open ended J Pipe you do get a slight drone, but one you can live with.

All that said, now that I have a DP I'm going to close the J Pipe again as its a bit too much for my taste.

Thanks, used an analyzer yesterday and it's close to 100Hz as well. Now I have to find a shop to do the fabrication and install.

Another sneak peak at stage 2 progression for the F10 340whp and holding boost across rpm range with the baby stock snail. This is not the final tune. Projected numbers are 380whp!
